Nicht nur bei Weihnachtskeksen, sondern insgesamt, also auch bei Kuchen, Torten und Co? Mehl? Zucker? Eier?<br>N\u00f6. Die richtige Antwort ist: <strong>Rum<\/strong>. Folgerichtig sind Rumkugeln auch die Kr\u00f6nung des Weihnachtsgeb\u00e4cks, oder?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ich meine das \u00fcbrigens ganz ehrlich und ohne Augenzwinkern. Rum ist bei mir in praktisch allem drin, was an S\u00fc\u00dfem meine K\u00fcche verl\u00e4sst. Okay, manchmal ist es statt Rum Cointreau, Cognac oder auch mal ein Calvados, aber Rum verbrauche ich in rauen Mengen. Und nein, ich trinke ihn dabei nicht!<br>Ich mag das Rumaroma einfach sehr gerne. In manchen Dingen ist es f\u00fcr sogar nicht wegzudenken, zum Beispiel in Marillenmarmelade. Dabei muss sich auch niemand Sorgen machen, solange das produzierte S\u00fc\u00dfe gebacken oder gekocht wurde. Alkohol verdampft n\u00e4mlich sehr rasch, und zur\u00fcck bleibt der Geschmack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zur\u00fcck zu den Rumkugeln, ich bin wohl etwas abgeschweift. Die geh\u00f6ren zu meinem absoluten Favoriten, jedes Jahr! \u00dcbrigens durfte ich auch als Kind schon Rumkugeln essen (die ja NICHT gebacken werden). Vielleicht denkt ihr euch ja jetzt &#8222;Das erkl\u00e4rt jetzt so einiges&#8220; \ud83d\ude05. Aber schaut euch mal die Masse im Verh\u00e4ltnis zum Rum an bei der Herstellung. Da bekommt man ja mehr Blutalkohol von naturtr\u00fcbem Apfelsaft (das bekommt man \u00fcbrigens wirklich).<br>Meine Mutter hat damals die Rumkugeln gepimpt und sie mit in Rum eingelegten Kirschen gef\u00fcllt. Ich fand das grauenhaft. Ich habe den Rumkugelteig von der Kirsche runtergelutscht und das beanstandete St\u00fcck Obst entsorgt. <br>Heute klingt das aber richtig lecker f\u00fcr mich. Wenn ihr also gro\u00dfe Rumkugeln mit WOW-Effekt machen wollt, dann legt einfach ein paar Tage vorher Kirschen aus dem Glas in Rum ein und umh\u00fcllt sie mit der Rumkugelmasse.
