M\u00e4rz, ist der Internationale Tag der Waffel. Also auch jener Tag aller Menschen, die einen an der Waffel haben. Da ich mich dieser Gruppe durchaus zugeh\u00f6rig f\u00fchle, konnte ich nat\u00fcrlich an einem solchen Feiertag nicht vorbei &#8211; und mein Waffeleisen musste ohnehin wieder benutzt werden.<br>W\u00e4hrend mein Einweihungsgericht f\u00fcr das belgische Waffeleisen herzhafte Waffeln waren (ihr erinnert euch vielleicht an meine Parmesanwaffeln), musste jetzt nat\u00fcrlich endlich die klassisch s\u00fc\u00dfe Variante herhalten. Und nachdem bei mir im B\u00fcro zwei Bananen schon in Beinahe-Endzeitstimmung vor sich hingereift sind, wurden es Bananenwaffeln. Fast schicksalsgegeben also.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Perfekt zur Verwertung \u00fcberreifer Bananen<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Ich habe ein ambivalentes Verh\u00e4ltnis zu Bananen. Wenn sie knackig gelb sind und noch keine braunen Stellen aufweisen, dann esse ich durchaus hin und wieder mal eine. Sie sind nicht gerade mein absolutes Lieblingsobst. Dennoch &#8211; wenn es nicht zu oft ist, ist gegen eine knackige Banane nichts einzuwenden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wenn sie aber dann \u00e4lter, braun und weich werden und diesen intensiven Geruch verstr\u00f6men, dann bekomme ich sie nicht mehr runter. Zumindest nicht in purer Form. Dann laufen sie aber erst zu H\u00f6chstform f\u00fcr die K\u00fcchenverwertung auf. N\u00e4mlich f\u00fcr Banana Bread, Porridge und <strong>Bananenwaffeln<\/strong>. In diesen Gerichten braucht man das Aroma und die S\u00fc\u00dfe sehr reifer Bananen zwingend f\u00fcr den vollen Geschmack. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wenn es euch also ebenso wie mir geht und ihr braune Bananen nur noch mit einem leicht angeekelten Kr\u00e4useln des Mundwinkels zur Kenntnis nehmt, dann ab damit in die K\u00fcche! Ist nicht. Also nat\u00fcrlich geht das. Aber da verzichtet man auf das Allerbeste! Hier sind die absoluten Must-Have-Topping-Ideen f\u00fcr Bananen- und andere s\u00fc\u00dfe Waffeln.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ahornsirup<\/strong><br>Ohne Ahornsirup kein Pancake und auch keine Waffel. Der ganz eigene Geschmack geh\u00f6rt einfach dazu. So werden eure Waffeln klassisch US-amerikanisch. In den USA \u00fcbrigens ein typisches Diner-Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Butter<\/strong><br>Ich bin ein Fan von Butter. Margarine kommt bei mir nicht mal \u00fcber die T\u00fcrschwelle, ganz zu schweigen in den K\u00fchlschrank. Ein sch\u00f6nes St\u00fcck Butter zu den Waffeln harmoniert einfach gro\u00dfartig. Und ganz ehrlich, an dem Punkt geht&#8217;s um die Mehrkalorien auch nicht mehr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bananen<\/strong><br>Auf Bananenwaffeln geh\u00f6ren nat\u00fcrlich Bananen. Das ist irgendwie aufgelegt. Hier kommen allerdings die knackigen Exemplare zum Einsatz (zumindest bei mir), weil die braunen ja bereits im Teig verschwunden sind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Beeren<\/strong><br>Gegen frische Beeren gibt es einfach nichts einzuwenden, Punkt. Ob ihr Heidelbeeren, Himbeeren, Erdbeeren oder sonstige Beeren verwendet, bleibt ganz euch \u00fcberlassen. Wenn ihr euch nicht entscheiden k\u00f6nnt, dann stimmt einfach die Farbe der Beeren mit der der Tischdeko ab. So einfach ist das.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Weitere s\u00fcndige M\u00f6glichkeiten<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Schlagobers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ges\u00fc\u00dfter Frischk\u00e4se<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Schlagobers mit Sauerrahm gemischt<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nutella (OMFG)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Schokost\u00fcckchen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>N\u00fcsse<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Trockenfr\u00fcchte<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Karamell oder Dulce de Leche<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Marmelade<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Wenn ihr \u00fcbrigens kein Waffeleisen habt und eines kaufen wollt, dann empfehle ich euch auf jeden Fall eines f\u00fcr belgische Waffeln. Das sind die dicken Waffeln mit den Vertiefungen, in die so herrlich viel Nutella und Ahornsirup reinpasst! \u2764<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:70px\" aria-hidden=\"true\"
